3rd DAY @ Delhi Secretariat

New dawn, new hopes and new beliefs and yes, everyday is a God gifted day. The second day pushed up my anticipation further. With this hope in mind, again we packed ourselves on January 13, 2014 early in the morning for CM’s office, Delhi Secretariat to meet the CM.

Again with banners and an application letter dated January 3, 2014 with a stamp of Delhi Secretariat, we headed towards the premises of Delhi Secretariat. The flicker of hope in me, my brother and my bhabhi only waved dimly at one moment and bright at another. After a long wait, we met a secretary of Aam Admi Party there named Ashwati Murli Dharan.

A woman so benign like her I have ever met. A lean and thin lady, Ms. Ashwati Murli Dharan shone like a beacon in darkness. Like a mother to a child, she heard about our grievances and about our father who is serving life Imprisonment for a cause that he did for humanity. We were bowled over by her polite demeanour to us and we only wished inside that as an AAP member she would help us find justice.

Within nanoseconds, Ms. Murli Dharan accepted our mercy petition file and immediately assured us that she will put forward the file to the Principal Secretary to CM, Rajendra Kumar. From there, the file will be overlooked by the CM and the President. At the same time, she wanted two days from us to view our case and do other formalities.

We left the premises with confidence as well as with heap of questions. Unable to express in words, it is very difficult to spend these two days for an unpredictable situation assured by Ms. Murli Dharan. No sleep and no food and only questions pop up in my head after ever second. What will happen after the file is checked? Will they let us meet Arvind Kejriwal? What will happen after two days? Just a hope in heart, I am waiting for that day.
